Design & creations, Rant6 October, 2005
I am sitting here before my computer, 3a.m. in the morning, trying to sketch.
I sketched one design, and then I couldn’t continue. I just feel I couldn’t do it. Before I even commerce on designing, I had already thrown ideas out my mind. Art deco so what?! I couldn’t even find the right storyline and feel to connote my theme.
And then at my student’s place last evening, I thought I stumbled upon a very cool and interesting theme of “Ambivalent”. And then I found it too much. How to transform common details of a suit from front to the back and still make it look flattering?! Too much.
And now I don’t know what to do, or where to begin. Sigh. I think I’ll go sleep now.
