On Friday, my good friend and I meet up to go Arab Street for shopping. So in order for us to get to Arab Street, we gotta walk pass this football size Flea market heaven - Sungei Road. That place is like an ever-on-going GSS (Great Singapore Sales).
The Loot is all in this innocuous pine green OCBC bag I got for $5
Plus 2 other accessories part for $1 each. Total damage, $27 for 11 items. Sure beats Timberlux and Salvation Army.
Tips for thrifting at Sungei: - Never bring an icky companion who whines and complain over every little thing. - Always wear lightly. Bring tissue, water, wet tissue and a big bag. Shuck, buy a big bag there. - Always bargain. Take the price offered, divide by 2 (or 3, depends) and offer back. If it’s not working, shrug and pretend to walk away. They’ll call u back. - Never buy electronic from Sungei. Most are not working. - Always digggggggg for goodies. - Ladies, go with a male companion on weekend. And don’t wear heels.

Hey the pink phone looks cool lor. LOL. But it’s probably not working, is it?
