Spent the entire National Day working away at the office with the rest of the designers and Boss. By twelve midnight, there’s like 6 of us in the office working away, yabbering bout the designs, fabrication, colours, namecard, yada yada. We left the office only at 2a.m. And that’s how 6 people in Singapore spent their National Day. No Parade, no Mari Kita, no Pledge, no red/white combo, no feast, no Tiger beer.

I was supposed to stayover in the office that night so I could use my boss’ sewing facilities and catch up on my own school project. However, I had a lucky star over that evening, and this veteran taught me the tricks and tips on patternmaking.

It was a bloody humbling session for me, to be guided under him. What I thought I knew, was deemed insufficient. What I thought was right, was deemed wrong. And what I would need 4 days to achieve, took him only 30mins to Gao Tim (settle). He’s like the Thomas Wee I never had.

Anyway… despite feeling under the weather and working 12 hours yesterday, someone brightened my day, and I brightened somebody’s day too.

At first, we are the Sunshines. Yesterday, we are the Fireworks.

Hehehehehe.

Ok ok, you can go puke now.
