I seriously thought Singapore is turning 47 this year. In actual fact, 42 only.
Shit, why am I always 5 years ahead?!

This will be the first and last time I am going to do free design for people I barely know.
I don’t major in graphic, and most of all, he/she who is not related to me, is not paying.
It just cheapens the trade.
Popped by the office earlier to collect the long due paycheck. Thank god ex-boss was out, we really can do without the small talk today.
Saw Ms. Tiger Beer, she still looks like a 38 after 3 months. Maybe a little under-dressed than usual, but no surprise, considering she’s the only little helper left. Maybe now she’ll fully understand the feeling of being crushed under a mountain of workload with no one else to turn to.
I regret that I agreed to help out with some designs. I thought it has little to do with Tiger Beer, unfortunately I was “duped” her girlfriend’s carefully worded messages.
Don’t know why I call her Ms. Tiger Beer, with her love for leopard prints, she should be Ms. Leopard Beer what…
To be honest, I don’t dislike my ex-boss. One day we may work together again, but one day will never happen until the leopard is out of the picture.
I really can be a bit taller. Just 7cm more, I’ll be a little more pleased. Maybe not so stumpy looking legs?
I find big boobs vulgar-looking. I tried on a tee today, and the high collar made me look stuffed. And yet a V neck tee would sometimes elicit unwanted attention. Another top was so ‘fluffed’ at the wrong place, that my silhouette resembles a 3 month pregnant woman.
I wished my hair is fuller, thicker, stronger. I don’t know why they fall the way they do - they grew long and smooth, until one day, the follicles just decided to reject them.
I can really do with some antihistamine tablets - the cool weather is sending alarm to my immune system.
Charles & Keith, reminds me of Banana Republic and J.Crew with a Bata price tag.
Their team of designers obviously have a very good sense of taste and a good eye for quality designs.
Almost everything about their summer collection is a hit. From the shape of the heel and toe box, to the material, trimmings and colour, they’ve got it right. Even the bags and accessories looks good.
They must have monthly subscriptions to Vogue Paris or something, cos it’s pretty obvious where they got their inspiration from… I must say, they have done some pretty good homage to Chloe and Tod’s.
Their Parco Bugis branch is probably one of the more eye-catching store there, with an elevated mezzanine level for bags and accessories and the sophisticated window displays.
Now, if only they could send me some gift vouchers.
Itchy backside is…. Dying to have a sip of red wine, right after you completed a bunch of production drawings.
Mother Rationality says…
“Later you anyhowly click and your file cannot open, then you know.”
Some days… my personal style eludes me.
I don’t know if I dress myself to be the designer I want to be, or I dress myself up just to be another average Jane.
Effort made to go shopping looking for personal style are often futile - nothing excites me anymore, not even bags. I’d rather spend my money on magazines and food.
Really quite embarrassing and puzzling, considering I’m in fashion and design, and I should by right, have a strong sense of personal style.
So is there such a thing known as, fashion geeks?
