Some times I wonder if I buy things just because they look nice.
I went to the mall earlier, wanting to buy a Sennheiser earbud to replace my half dead ipod earbud.
The shop I wanted to go was mysteriously closed. So I walked down to Best Denki, which has a smaller range of Sennheiser. It was either too ridiculously priced ($128 for earphones?!) or it just wasn’t the canalphone type I am so fond of.
So I ran my eyes from Philips to Sony, to Audio-Technica.
I avoided all white earbud, cos the wire can get gunky pretty quickly. I don’t like pink stuff, I don’t like the lanyard type, and I don’t like clip type either. In short, don’t give me something that’s too bloody funky.
Picked out 2 that I like, compared the look, scan through the specs, then decided that I prefer the shiny Sony one, over the drab looking Philips pair.
When are they gonna release these Philips-Swarovski crystal earbud?!
I saw these and the USB in person a couple of months back, and lemme tell you, they are pretty darn gorgeous! The USB can act as a pendant, but honestly they are really too heavy lah.
Anyhow, It’s so glam to stick a crystal into your ear… no? I bet they are gonna cost more than a hundred.
