Little Dowager

I bought a silk blouse last week and I decided to wash it first before I wear it.

However, I know nothing about caring for silk clothings. Coming from a fashion graduate, I ought to know but I don’t - Silk is just not my fabric, I very much preferred to deal with knits.

However, silk has taught me 5 things:

1) Best worn without perfumery 2) Always handwash yourself. Gently, with mild soap. 3) Always iron yourself. Low heat with steam/slightly damp, on reverse side. 4) Do not tug at the fabric while ironing/wet. It will be hard to reverse the shape back. 5) Skip step 1-4, send it to a dry cleaner if you’re rich.

Thank god it still looks wearable after experimenting.

Next up on my list: WOOL!

This is not a reminder; This is a Proclamation.

Some people wear a separate pair of shoes specially just in the office. It may be a fluffy slip on (always pink) or those faux cheap velvet slipper/thong. I have a pair of cheap army green rubber flip-flop I always wanted to bring into the office. Weeks went by, and I never did.

Instead I brought in a pair of leather slip-on mules from Rockport, that was terribly under-worn (because they are a hot coral pink). It can get a bit warm wearing it, but it’s still comfortable like hell. I think it is better that I wore this instead of flip-flops… Can’t let my boss see my unpedicured toes, can I?

I know I just got a techie toy (ipod!) earlier this month. But I really *need* to change my handphone, especially when I discovered the wonky joystick of my SE608i mysteriously sent 200 over SMSes someone name A******. In the middle of the night. I’m sure she is not amused.

But Thank god it’s just sms. Cos I really don’t need 500 free sms every month.

The camera is just 2 megapixel with fix focus, 32 mb internal memory. But it comes with a 256mb memory card. I’m not really wowed about the design (especially the black with red, the back design), but for $0 I really shouldn’t complain. At least the joystick looks solid.

This my friend, has 3.2MP, with auto focus and xenon flash. Every camphone addict’s dream phone.

I totally adore the smart looking grey blue, the round buttons, the slide camera cover on the back… But I totally hate the joystick.

They always turn wonky after a while.

This is a phone I would pay $200 for, that is if I have a disposable $200 lying around.

This is quite the pretty phone isn’t it? Usually I only like one colour scheme, but I really adore both colour for this model. Especially the black/wine one on the left.

But it only has 2 mega pixel camera, without camera light. Considering that it hasn’t release in SG yet, I bet it going to cost slightly more than other models with similar functions.

It’s about time SE move on into producing phones with at least 3.2MP WITH camera light/flash.

Very cute button; Would be my first choice if it is available right now.
